Advanced two-stage design allows the Tranquility 27™ to “match” performance to meet all weather conditions:

On those cold winter days the second stage automatically engages when needed to keep your home warm and comfortable.

During the hottest months the second stage automatically engages when needed to provide additional cooling.

In mild spring and fall months only the first stage is needed to provide optimum indoor comfort.

Ninety percent of the year the Tranquility 27™ runs on low stage. The second stage kicks in automatically only when needed in the hottest and coldest months of the year. Using an electronic variable-speed fan motor, the Tranquility 27™ assures you of high comfort, maximum efficiency, superior year-round dehumidification, and low utility bills.

The energy-efficiency criteria for geothermal heat pumps to qualify for the Energy Star program requires an EER rating of 14.1 (closed loop systems) or 16.2 (open loop system). The Tranquility 27™ (two-stage) has a EER rating of 27; the Tranquility 20™ (single stage) has a EER rating of 20 – showing that not all Energy Star qualified systems are equal.

The Genesis Split Series

The Genesis Split Series Units can be easily connected to your existing furnace or installed with a new Air Handler from your Climate Master dealer to heat and cool your entire home quietly, efficiently, and economically. Easily connected to fossil fuel or electric furnaces, the Genesis Split is ideal for "add-on" installations, providing you with the maximum in convenience and comfort at a reduced installed cost.

The perfect combination for energy savings, comfort, and reduced operating costs - the Genesis Split geothermal heating and cooling system can be matched with most high-efficiency air-coils and air-handlers.

THW Water-to-Water Series

The THW Series is unlike any other water-to-water heat pump on the market today. The large operating map of the scroll compressor allows high temperature operation, up to 145°F [63°C] leaving load water temperature even at 32°F [0°C] entering source water temperature. The combination of a coaxial (tube-in-tube) heat exchanger for the source (ground loop) side and a brazed plate heat exchanger for the load (heating/hot water) side provides very high efficiencies. Integral controls for hydronic heating and domestic water heating avoid the need for external microprocessor-based controls for outdoor temperature reset, warm weather shutdown, staging and other controls.

Available in size 10kW [32,600 Btuh] for 60Hz voltages, and sizes 8kW, 10kW and 12kW for 50Hz voltages, the THW offers a heat pump for most any installation. The THW has an extended range refrigeration circuit, capable of ground loop (geothermal) applications as well as open loop (well water) applications. Standard features and factory-installed options are many. Unique application-specific controls make the THW Series ideal for hydronic heating and domestic hot water generation. The heating-only refrigeration circuit is optimized for high water temperatures, heating efficiencies, and capacities.

Climate Master’s exclusive double isolation compressor mounting system, insulated compressor enclosure, and compressor discharge muffler make the THW Series one of the quietest water-to-water heat pumps available. The attractive “Euro-style” cabinet allows the unit to fit into any decor.

GSW Water-to-Water Series

The GSW Water-to-Water Series offers high efficiency with advanced features, extremely quiet operation and application flexibility at competitive prices. As Climate Master’s most adaptable R-22 refrigerant units, the GSW Series can be used for radiant floor heating, snow/ice melt, chilled water for fan coils, industrial process control, potable hot water generation, hot/chilled water for make-up air, and many other types of HVAC and industrial applications.

Available in sizes 3 ton (10.6 kW), 5 ton (17.6 kW) and 10 ton (29.3 kW) the GSW Series offers a wide range of units for most any installation. The GSW has an extended range refrigerant circuit, capable of ground loop (geothermal) applications as well as water loop (boiler-tower) applications. Standard features are many. Microprocessor controls, G90 galvanized steel cabinet; polyester powder coat paint and TXV refrigerant metering device are just some of the features of the flexible GSW Series.

Climate Master’s exclusive double isolation compressor mounting system makes the GSW Series the quietest water-to-water unit on the market. Compressors are mounted on vibration isolation springs to a heavy gauge mounting plate, which is then isolated from the cabinet base with rubber grommets for maximized vibration/sound attenuation. Options such as double-wall load heat exchanger (for potable hot water generation) and DDC controls allow customized design solutions.

Genesis Outdoor Split Series

Low Cost Installation: Better yet, the design of the Genesis Outdoor Split moves beyond the traditional benefits associated with geothermal units by offering additional savings through lower installation costs.

Since the Genesis Outdoor Split replaces your current outdoor unit, you can connect directly to your existing interior equipment and avoid additional installation and remodeling expenses.

The innovative design of the Genesis Outdoor Split offers a variety of cost saving installation options available for the first time with a geothermal system. This unique engineering allows the unit to be installed outside, using your current system connections without changes or special modifications. Just add a ground loop, and you are in business.

With this new design, you can even install a Genesis Outdoor Split exactly as you would a conventional air conditioning system. The ground loop system stays outside, further simplifying the replacement of your current system. Upgrading your heating and cooling system has never been so easy.
